About this service
Interpretation is real-time language conversion during a meeting, hearing, conference call, or in-person event. Unlike translation, which works with documents, interpretation works with spoken language in the moment. It requires a different skill set and a different kind of preparation.
We provide consecutive interpretation (speaker pauses for the interpreter) and simultaneous interpretation (interpreter works in real time while the speaker continues). For remote engagements, we support all major video conferencing platforms. For in-person engagements in the Jasper, TN area and broader Southeast region, we can arrange on-site presence.

Human resources teams handling multilingual workforce situations. Each context has its own sensitivity and its own terminology requirements, and we prepare our interpreters accordingly.
Preparation process
Every interpretation engagement includes a preparation briefing with the interpreter. If there is background material, we review it. If there is specific terminology, we go over it. An interpreter who walks into a medical appointment without knowing the relevant medical vocabulary is not actually prepared, and we do not let that happen.
