Why clients choose us
Accuracy that matters

Our 99.7% accuracy rate comes from a two-step review process where a second linguist checks every translation before it leaves our desk.

Reliable timelines

We give you realistic delivery estimates and we meet them. Rush turnarounds are available when you need them, without a quality compromise.

Subject-matter expertise

Legal, medical, technical, and commercial documents each require different knowledge. We match every project to a translator who actually knows the field.

Work we are proud of

How a project runs

Four stages. Clear expectations at every point.

01
Submit Your Brief

Share your documents, target languages, and any context we should know about. Industry, audience, tone, and purpose all inform how we approach the work.

02
Translator Assigned

We assign a native-speaker translator with relevant subject expertise. Legal documents go to legal translators. Medical content goes to translators who understand medical language. Not generalists.

03
Quality Review

A second independent linguist reviews the translation for accuracy, terminology, and fluency. Problems found internally never reach your desk.

04
Delivery

Delivered as polished digital files in your preferred format. For certified translations, the certification is included with the file.

What clients say

We have worked with three translation agencies before emmatranslation. This is the first one that catches errors we did not notice ourselves. That level of care is not common.

Rachel Ostroff
Paralegal Director
Martin & Associates Law Group

The medical device submission was high-stakes. A translation error could have cost us months. Not one revision was needed after delivery. We appreciated that their translator actually understood what the document was doing.

James Corfield
Regulatory Affairs Manager
Briarwood Medical Devices

They did not just translate the product descriptions. They flagged several spots where the original English copy would not make sense in Spanish even if translated correctly. That kind of judgment is what you are actually paying for.

Common questions
What languages do you translate into?

We currently support 12 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, Dutch, and Korean. Contact us if you need a language not listed.

How long does a translation project take?

Standard documents (under 1,000 words) take 2 to 3 business days. Larger projects are scoped individually. Rush delivery to next business day is available as an add-on.

What does certified translation include?

A certified translation includes the translated document plus a signed statement from the translator affirming accuracy. This is accepted by US courts, USCIS, and most government agencies.

Do you work with legal documents?

Yes. Contracts, immigration filings, court documents, and corporate agreements are among our most common legal requests. We have translators with legal backgrounds across several language pairs.

How do you handle confidential documents?

All documents are handled under strict confidentiality. We can sign an NDA before work begins on any sensitive project. Source files are deleted after delivery unless you ask us to retain them.

Can you match the original document formatting?

Yes. The Layout Formatting add-on is available for projects where the original visual structure needs to be preserved exactly in the translated document.

What happens if I need revisions?

Every project includes one revision round. If something is not right, we fix it. Additional revision rounds are available as an add-on at checkout.

Do you offer ongoing translation services for businesses?

Yes. Our Enterprise package includes a dedicated account manager and priority queue for clients with ongoing or high-volume needs.
